Franchise history

A team at present called a Wizards began when a Chicago Packers in the 1961-62 season. A next year, it changed their title to the Zephyrs. & a year fallowing that, it moved to Baltimore, Maryland and became the Baltimore Bullets, there are no relation to the 1940s Bullets franchise.

The Name Change

In May 15, 1997, the Bullets officially unveiled their newly title & logotype. It got changed it because a title Bullets carried the violent overtone.
